Our Activities

We devised and now deliver a unique training programme for all young people in Northumberland which increases morale and participation whilst simultaneously focusing on fun. We do this by combining the disciplines of sport with everyday life experiences. The emphasis of the coaching technique is not on sporting ability but about raising self esteem.

Coaching sessions are delivered in a positive, fun, relaxed environment and aim to instil self-confidence, enthusiasm and determination in all participants, regardless of their ability.

Since our organisation is made up of local sports personalities and local community activists, the young people taking part see how others have used sport to enhance their life opportunities.

We promote the ethos that teamwork is essential both in sport and in everyday life.

Each session is tailored specifically to meet the needs and abilities of the participants. The overriding theme of each session is to provide a healthy, positive activity that encourages each individual to learn whilst having fun.
